CDS provided the site & house type drawings for the full planning application submission for 4 no. detached houses on this small, broadly square, site, situated on the eastern side of Wotton Road, bounded by mature hedging on its western, eastern & southern boundaries.
Proposals provide a mix of 2 storey, 4 bedroom, bespoke house types designed in a contemporary style which front out onto Wotton Road & served off a single access shared private drive. A linear form of development is provided to reflect existing housing in the locality with an appropriate set back. Each dwelling has been carefully designed to ensure no overlooking between new & existing properties. A range of high-quality materials is proposed incorporating natural stone, cladding & render to main facades under a slate effect roof. Garages are located to the west of the shared drive & to minimise their visual impact have been designed with a ‘sedum planted’ green flat roof.
