Proposals form part of a wider development site with planning approval for 165 new dwellings and a 60 bed care home. Under the terms of the S106 the care home was marketed but as no viable interest was received the land became available and we were appointed by Barratt Homes to submit a full planning application for residential use on the land.

The application provides  for 20 no. new high quality residential homes, comprising 2 no. 1 bedroom, 6 no. 2 bedroom, 6 no. 3 bedroom and 6 no. 4 bedroom houses, in a mix of detached, semi-detached and small terrace forms in keeping with the character of the local area. A total of 6 no. affordable units have also been incorporated.

A perimeter block form of layout with dwellings set back from and orientated to overlook the surrounding public realm is provided with house designs continuing in the traditional style with detailing providing a more contemporary feel as approved on the adjacent new development to ensure integration.
